Planning an event following the loss of a family member or friend can be a daunting experience.

At GG’s we can assist you in sympathetically arranging personal events where friends and family can gather together to celebrate the life of a loved one offering a friendly unobtrusive service with that personal touch and warm welcome.

Whether you are looking to hold an intimate gathering or a large event, we have a selection of spaces available. Our main restaurant and bar area leads directly out to a large enclosed patio and garden with all-weather play area or our ‘Stirrups’ room upstairs with private bar and large balcony with countryside views.

We have a range of hot and cold informal buffet options or can offer a bespoke choice of food and full sit-down meal.

We are centrally located on the Isle of Wight and just a couple of minutes from the crematorium. There is a large car park for guests travelling from the mainland or beyond and we have a range of onsite accommodation too.

We can provide access to our sound system and screen should you wish to choose your own music or show a gallery of images. Losing a loved one is a stressful experience but we hope we can take some of that stress away by providing the most suitable venue for your funeral wake and celebration of life.
